Introducing the Jimo AI Knowledge Base
Enterprise knowledge is distributed across manuals, presentations, spreadsheets and web pages. An AI assistant becomes more useful when it can retrieve that knowledge rather than relying only on its model’s general training.
This knowledge-base update focuses on importing business material and preparing it for use by enterprise agents. The capabilities described here reflect the April 2025 release; see the current product overview for the platform’s broader feature set.
Bring documents into one workflow
The update expanded document ingestion across common office formats, including PDF, PowerPoint and Excel, alongside audio and video material. Parsing helps turn source material into content that can be organized and retrieved by an AI assistant.
Connect web sources and upload in batches
Teams can import web links and upload multiple documents rather than entering every knowledge item manually. This helps bring internal references and relevant external pages into the same knowledge workflow.
Organize content for retrieval
Semantic splitting, document headings and configured delimiters offer different ways to prepare content. Appropriate chunking helps preserve context while making the relevant passage easier to retrieve.
Connect knowledge to agents
A knowledge base can support internal training, customer inquiries and everyday business questions. Users should test retrieval against representative questions, check the source material and define what the assistant should say when it cannot find relevant knowledge.
